Wilson is making a good but slightly different version of the original Ultra Light Arms rifle.

The original rifles built by Melvin Forbes usually sell for around $4000 if in good condition, which if I recall correctly was the price Melvin was charging before selling the company to Wilson.

Me being me. Kinda like charging $1700 for a rifle stock when a comparable stock could be bought for $700-$800 at most. LMAO

That’s a cool one for sure. I shot a deer last week with the ULA I bought from NTO a few years ago.

OP, what is the twist?
Have you shot it and/or comment on how it shoots?

Might be a little "abrupt" here, but the VERY first Ultra Light Arms rifles were .284s, on the Model 20 action. Which were the rifles that got everybody's attention way back in 1986, when Melvin started Ultra Light Arms--and introduced real lightweight rifles that were very accurate.

The very first ULA I tested was a Model 28 .300 Winchester Magnum, that with three handloads, all using different powders and bullets, put three shots of each into a composite 9-shot group of .9 inch at 100 yards. It weighed an ounce under seven pounds with scope.

Have owned some others ULA (and NULA) rifles since then, and have five right now. The oldest and most-shot is a .30-06 Model 24, acquired in 1996, that even after 1000 rounds down the bore will average right around 1/2" for 3-shot groups at 100 yards with several handloads using bullets from 150-200 grains.

Would suspect this one "shoots" very well....
