Looking at a single shot pistol on one of these calibers in a 14" single shot. Mainly for plinking an occasional coyote. Question is going to the creedmor going to be that much of a gain in performance in a 14" barrel . Would it be worth the extra recoil ? I will be shooting suppressed if it matters.

For that application I would use the Grendel case and probably the 6mm version.

I agree with Grendel. What advantage does the case capacity offer in a pistol? I would have to look at the numbers to verify this.

friend of mine has a CVA single shot pistol get a 6.5 Grendel shoots very well I would highly recommend one of them..

That is the pistol I am looking at. Seems like the calibers come out each year in waves. Passed on the 6.5 creed some 243s available but they don't thread them and the Grendel is available now. Kinda expect the 6 ARC to be available next.
