Incredible video. Death by a 1000 cuts. Wonder how it'll work if you're driving in white out conditions or 4 wheeling. Who is going to monitor all this data?

Don't worry. Big Brother will just hire thousands more unelected, faceless, nameless bureaucrats to do the job. crazy

I see a market for a small air bottle, regulated ta lung pressure and re-filled from a compressor.

I can just see swerving to dodge a pothole or a chunk of tire from a tractor trailer, and boom system disabled.

Nah, they'll put A.I. on it. Saw something on Instagram about congress inserting a law into a bill to mandate a mandatory kill-switch in all vehicles by 2026. Can't say if it is true or not, but jeez....That whole "you will own nothing, and like it" BS is starting to sound a lot less like a conspiracy theory.

It's true and there.

But many will and have poo-pood it and a say it's fine. Just like the start/stop feature, the keyless start feature, the "make a v8 use 4 cylinders" feature, the traction control feature, etc. All have been defended on here by soccer moms.

For all "the Good" it would do - it is, above all, .gov overreach, on a massive scale.
Gadgets are not foolproof - I knew a fellow who had to have an interlock on his truck (rightly).
Went out of town on business, stone sober. Ate a couple of slices of pizza and drank a Sprite.
Wound up waiting for hours for his truck to start, so he could go home.
The Sprite and pizza fermented, kicking out his interlock. Then, he had to go before the judge and produce his doctor's written explanation - to get his (restricted) driving privileges reinstated.
Until then, I'd have never dreamed!

I've always been a curmudgeon - now I'm an old curmudgeon.

So the US will become like Cuba where there are no new cars on the road?

Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want.

Rehabilitation is way overrated.

Inevitable since voting rights was granted to mere biomass with no strict oversight to election integrity, paired with capital punishment for integrity infraction.
