A widow lady was awakened by a bump in the night and realized there was a burglar in the house. Having no weapons at her disposal, she decided to admonish the crook with a bit of Scripture about repentance. She yelled out Acts 2:38. Nothing. Infuriated, she stomped down the stairs and screamed, at the top of her lungs, ACTS 2:38. Instantly the thief dropped, face first to the floor and froze until the cops got there. When the officer got him to the cruiser he asked why he was waiting motionless on the floor. He replied the lady was screaming she had an axe and two 38s. ;-{>8
