Go blue!! Whether they make the first round or not, they will not win the NC, that is unless Hairball steals their signals again. There is no more undeserving team in CFB.

If Fsu was left out because Travis was hurt then Travis should be the automatic Heisman winner. The whole system is f'd.If yuo're ranked ,lets 12 and you play # 4 at thier house and lose, why do you get dropped 6 spots? But if you win that game I'll guarntee you won't get move up to #4. Basing spots on polls that use votes by talking heads and reporters is insane. Also, having Jesse (Mr.Pretty boy bachelor ) Palmer calling our game on ABC (read ESPN ) so insulting it's insane--might as well have Steve Spurious calling the game.if you're an Ohio state fan fan would you want Desmond Howard calling your game---HELL NO--typical ABC/ESPN bias against FSU

Alabama barely beat Arkansas in Tuscaloosa. Arkansas went 4 and 8. Bama had to have a miracle to beat Auburn 6 and 6. They lost to Texas. Florida State went 13-0. Played and beat 2 SEC teams in non conference schedule. Won their Power 5 conference championship They earned the 3rd spot. Yes their 3rd team Qb didn't look good but their 2nd team QB was out for concussion protocol he is available for next month. They were wronged. I am not a seminole fan. But they earned the.right to play for the.championship this year.

So now we have a committee, it's not perfect and this year proves it. I know Georgia is fired up to play FSU. More likely they will not be fired up and a lot of seniors will sit out because they'll consider it the "who cares bowl". The entire "selection process" in CFB is a total joke. Why even bother calling conferences "power five" when there are 4 spots. Only a sport as stupid as FBS college football can take four teams and sell it to fan bases as a "playoff". At least that is being rectified next year but it's about 50y later than it should have been.

Due to the increased price of ammo, don't expect a warning shot...

The root problem is the 4 team playoff. The number of truly championship caliber teams varies from year to year. Some years there are more than 4 teams that deserve a shot. Some years, like last year, there really aren't even four teams that really belong (I'm looking at you TCU). This year there are a lot of teams that are good enough, but aren't going to get a shot. Ohio State and Oregon didn't win their conferences. Neither did Georgia, although if you only loss all season is to Alabama by three points, that's a tough exclusion.
Washington is in. Michigan is in. That leaves 2 spots with three teams competing. NORMALLY, Florida State would be in, but while their defense is top notch, their offense isn't anymore. Sad, but true. That leaves Texas and Alabama.
Thank God it's going to 12 teams next year. There aren't going to be 12 truly championship teams next year, but that will sort itself out on the field. Better to let too many teams in than to leave deserving teams out like this year.

Not to be picky, but you messed up in the title: it's the ESPN Invitational Tournament.

Many prognosticators are picking the Crimson Tide to win it all.

you got that right Oh, I know. Recall the old saw: 9 out of 10 girls in the Big Ten are hot – and the 10th goes to Michigan!

Jut a shame that "the committee" didn't make this clear at the beginning of the season. If that were true, Georgia would be in, and you would have the possibility of a rematch of yesterday’s game for the national title.
