I am thinking of selling my T/C Pennsylvania Hunter flintlock. it is in very good condition. is $400 a fair price for one of these?

Chit dude if someone will pay it who cares about fair? I'd ask $500 EASIER TO GO DOWN THAN UP. Sidelock ml's are drying up cap lock guns out number flinters 50 to 1.How in hell do you think you will ever replace it for less than a grand +. I like percussion locks but they are dependant on cap supply while flinters use rocks and you know were not gonna run short of rocks any time soon. You asked. Mb

If in good shape, that price is more than fair. Not much out there new under a grand these days.

I have some good English flints I’m saving in case the bug bites me again; shipwreck flints IIRC.

$400-$600 is the going price on that rifle in today's market.
Being a flintlock adds about $100. If the barrel is a 1:66 twist and in good shape $600 is reasonable.
