Hunting state land shotgun this past week. This SOB comes by carrying a deer leg! 20 Gage Accutip solved that problem. Shoot 'em if you can guys!

He was cleaning up deer gut piles, ect.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

That left a hole! Good shot.
Think. It's not illegal, yet.

Way to go! Better a deer leg than a calf leg….but still!

The leg looked like it was chewed off. I figured it was deer shot nearby that wasn’t recovered.

I shot a pitbull that was running deer with a 12ga. Federal Hydra-shok deer slug with similar results.

Saw a good-sized brown bear playing with the leg bones (hip to hoof) of a moose once, on a spring-ice lake. Looked like a big dog, throwing that thing in the air, and off as far as it could, then pouncing on it again. Repeat... it was having fun!
I had the dogs - Lab and Dachshund - with me and the little [bleep] didn't want to retreat- as we were doing - and told me so. He always argued when we turned around. to retrace our path on walks. Neither dog knew the bear was there- maybe 300 yards off. The bear heard the yip and here it came- actually heading for the winter kill about 100 yards off to the right that I'd found- and forgot about - the weekend before.
I was quite relieved when the bruin veered off to protect his find....
Without a gun along, we all got lucky.

The only true cost of having a dog is its death.

I’d rather shoot a coyote than almost anything other than a really big deer. I truly despise them after seeing them carry fawns can’t even fathom reintroducing wolves that’s just stupid

We are coyote hunting this Friday and saturday up the street from me on tobacco farm property. My son shot one already with the crossbow; 4 more we know of; got a pic on the deer cam last year of 5 together.

working on my last house a couple years ago (10?) and heard a fawn wailing in the brush. had my 41mag with me so put the sneak on the sound. a pair of yotes eating the little whitetail alive. now i have been through alot of blood and guts in my life but that scene made me want to hurl. waited just long enough to let those dogs line up and killed both with one shot. next shot for the baby. still haunts me. if i have any means at hand i kill every one i see. wolves and cougars too.

Bill N: Good job! Keep up the good work. I was out all morning Coyote/Wolf Hunting and Elk scouting (partner has a late season Elk tag) and had no luck. Could have shot a pair of Fox at a den but that rancher likes Foxes (to keep the Ground Squirrels in check). No Wolves either. Again good work. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
