this summer i had Jess rebore redo my Ruger #1 to a 35 Whelen and Jes did a fantastic job ,this rifle shoots 3/4 inch and under 3 shot groups at 100 yards and yes this rifle now has more recoil now. i took this rifle to Greg`s for him to inspect the rifling and chamber that Jes had done and Greg being a Machinist who builds some bench rifles that have won National titles looked thru his bore scope and also was very impressed with Jes`s work. so don`t be afraid to have a rebore by Jes done he does excellent work ! Thanks Jes if you read this ,Pete53

He's been doing a great job for 20 or 21 years now. Nothing new to those of us who have more than a few of his rebores.

They get rave reviews. Looks like another happy customer.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I have a M70 SS Classic sitting with Jess right now. Looking forward to getting it back! I've never had a problem with JES work.

Does it shoot better than before the rebore? And of coarse, what did it cost and turn around time?

$300. 2-3 weeks turnaround time. A fair number of my rebored barrels weren't shot beforehand. I bought them just to be rebored. http://www.35caliber.com/2.html
