I heard this rumor and looked for more info. I found this pro coyote site called Project Coyote. They have some info on the BLM's action but it's from the left. It's true that the BLM has outlawed the use of all cyanide bombs/guns/traps on it's lands, which are twice the size of CA. A little more searching should turn up something from the ranchers' side of the issue.

No. Some states ban them on public land, and the EPA set limits on where they can be placed on public land, but Wildlife Services still uses them where they can.

They are a waste of money.

Bombs ? How about a little research before you comment. They are called M44 and they are spring-loaded not a bomb. Best coyote control going
