The old 52 ford still has the four track in the glove box. It was there when I got the car, so I left it. There is a box of eight tracks somewhere around here. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band for sure, probably Redheaded Stranger also. Plus some pop crap the wife liked!
The 67 Dodge Crew Cab pickup had a Motorola 8 track unit at the bottom of the dash and speakers in all 4 doors and aux speakers in the big camper when mounted.. We had about 20 tapes - now gone. The kids loved playing that setup going down the road - a favorite album was King Richard and the Fluegel Knights - a couple of fluegel horns ion the band. Great memories.
Now we put a stick in the dash and get 30 albums - but no fluegels.
I saw my first 8 track cassette last month cleaning out a garage of a nice, older gentleman... He had this sitting on the shelf, and I looked it over and chose to listen to this song from joootewb as I do love me some Whisky. Pretty good sheit for the 60s...

Missed it by a decade, unless you’re being sarcastic

You can easily vote your way in to Socialism; but you'll have to shoot your way out.
