Thompson Center TCR 83 Aristocrat in 270. 23” barrel, no open sights, and T/C branded 1.5X5 scope. Condition is conservatively 95%

Set trigger rear trigger is really hard but when set, front trigger goes off really easily as it should. I suspect prior owner may have messed with set screw but I don’t have the expertise to mess with it. Front trigger works without setting.

One time bump

Based on conversation with a long time member (good guy GTP350) I’m adding two more pictures and expansion of my description.

The barrel is blued but receiver is matte. There are no screw holes (plugged or otherwise) on the barrel. I was informed of a recall due to hinge pin issues with heavy recoilers but I don’t know that was done here or if the .270 qualifies. Because the no-sights, this may not have been the original barrel. There is no visible wear on the muzzle so it has been lightly used at most.

Other picture is a flaw on the blue of the barrel—about a thumb-size print. This reinforces, I think, my evaluation of 95% condition.
