What are your thoughts on them? I saw the Sig ZULU 6HD's and thought they're pretty sweet. Are they legit? Does it eliminate the need to carry a spotter? I'm all for carrying less.

I wouldn't trust binos that rely on a battery to function.

I have a pair of Fujinons on my boat. They are fantastic for that purpose. They are unusable (with the stabilization turned on) on terra firma. There is a lag to the image presentation as you move the binocular. They do a good job of stabilizing big movements, much more so than the little vibration wiggles of a spotter or bino on a tripod. Probably not the right tool for your application.
