Damn Federal minimum wage and inflation, Workers have to make a "living wage" but prices are up exponentially, so less buying power, But that's OK because the Gov't collects more in taxes to send to our friends across the oceans....

Everything is going up... across the board.
Printing 15 trillion dollars of unbacked currency... has the tendency to make the 15 trillion of backed currency worth half as much...
Y'all liking them Covid bucks now?

Just ordered three more hacks of OSB...
I expect a price jump again.
$3,780 spent...
If the price jumps 15%
I just saved $567.

Just as I'm getting back into reloading after a 25 year hiatus.

The most telling statement is that there will be a Global shortage of POWDER!
Vista owns so many companies now and the Government can bring so much pressure to bear on them....

My suspicion is the reloading bottleneck will continue to be primers. If you have the means, a couple bricks of small rifle (or unicorn large rifle, if you are lucky enough to find them) would not be a bad Christmas present to yourself...

We are cooked. Glad I have enough to keep the 270win and 308win 30-06 running for me.

I have enough to load 1000 Hornets and 1350-ish 7x64, though 60 of the large rifle primers are actually older than me. I don't even know how these appeared! I think I shall hunt online for another couple of bricks of large and small CCI primers, just in case. Added. Okay, I just went peering in containers and found these store bought 7x64 that someone gave me God-knows-when. But these primed WW SUPER 257 ROBTS are an absolute mystery as I have never even owned a Roberts. I am really going to have to go through my stuff. And it turns out that I have more 22lr than I thought I had, good for me.

Vista's near-monopoly on ammo manufacturing couldn't possibly have anything to do with it....

We are below 25K primes south and probably about the same north. I'd invest in more primers and powder for sure if it was readily available and at some form of decent price.
Thankfully we did a bit of stocking up at times. And have not shot nearly as much as we used to.
Those are OLD primers. Cool to see.

I've actually got almost a full thousand of those from when I bought them over twenty years ago. I'll have to load up some .45-70 and .348 Winchester once I'm fully back in the swing.

Yes
I always store my primers in a chicken coop.
