Confirmed touchdown in North Clarksville. (Bigger than Billings jack by a mile) anyway
One home destroyed and another collapsed people trapped inside. And you're sitting in a treestand? Good huntin before and after a storm

Never saw a turdnado.in the home town. Heard the freight train sound of one 6 or 7 miles west. It was too dark to see the funnel clouyd. RZ.

RZ. had one go thru our backyard as a kid took the truck topper that was on a wooden frame and deposited it in the corn field down by the creek, then took the neighbor's roof off.

In 1976 waterspouts chased us off the breakwater in New Haven Harbor. We had a Lyman 20 footer with a 4 cylinder Gray Marine engine. Turned out we only had 2 cylinders working when we came in. Good times.

that's close to Mayfield which happened 2 years ago yesterday I believe About 100ish miles away. The Mayfield tornado passed about 7.5 miles north of my place, was about a mile wide with a debris field of 37,000 to 40,000 feet or so they say. Could hear it off in the distance and could see it well when the lightning flashed.

If you think how small of an area tornadoes hit, if one comes for you it's God saying welcome home or maybe you kindled His wrath against you, depending. I don't even bat an eye when tornadoes happen if I'm home. At work, I send everyone to the safe area because I like getting paychecks and I want to keep getting paychecks. Paychecks not much good if there's a 2 x 6 up your ass about four foot!
Even birds know not to land downwind!

Multiple fatalities In the Clarksville area. That tornado crossed into Kentucky and I could see the clouds from my house. More people were killed in the Nashville storm. Bad news.

Some small places just went away... stopped for breakfast in Mayfield Thanksgiving week, the destruction is still very evident Hate to hear about this now in TN and KY.

Got the 6.5x284 in the front seat just in case π€ Fine cartridge, but "just in case" what? Still deer season, sitting in my POV on my land. Always take the rifle, especially while cutting stove wood. Deer will come right up a man running a chainsaw. No chit. I learned that already in person.

Iβm just now getting to the house. Stayed to make sure nothing dropped on our fences. Can see the whole creek bottom. Of course I throwed my TeeVee out here n β78. But thereβs a widow womern we know was in one of the little communities near Dickson. Bout 10 miles. Sat with her for hour. No power. Will try to get caught up.
