Differences?

First of all, Colt rifles are built to spec and QC is performed on each part whereas PSA batch tests things like barrels and bolts. Materials of many of the parts of a PSA are not, including receiver extensions, coatings, small parts, etc. Most PSAs have huge gas ports, lack chrome-lining and so on. Whether or not they are "good enough" for you is another story. If PSA is good enough for you, fine, but don't pretend they are the same.

A friend of mine worked in a machine shop that produced AR15 parts for many of the big names you've heard about, from low-tier budget brands all the way up to the big boys that get contracts. He told me that the way contracts for those parts are written is a night and day difference. The actual mil-spec companies demand material testing, dimensional variance, and tooling/tooling changes at rates that command significantly higher cost. Meanwhile, low-tier commercial guns may allow their dimensional variation to be huge and wouldn't care how long tooling was used before being changed. Cost is the driver for those types of bids, not quality.

Everything's peachy until those barrels and chambers get hot. Lol.

Yeah. We all know you're the alpha male here.

It boggles my mind that someone whose professional existence depends upon public perception would get on this website and make such a screaming ass fool of himself.

Go back to your cot, moron.

So while you post retarded memes with a BAC of at least twice the legal limit, are you trying to insinuate they ARE the same?

Facts aren't up for debate.

I can't speak for recent Colt quality, but the old SP1 I had, was a worthless POS! Reliable yeah, but you couldn't hit a Barn Door with it! Had to shoot at Paper Plates, just to see where bullets were going!😂

Colt does qc. The no furniture cr6920 is 770$ a lot and it’s a good rifle

at this point it’s the bottom rung of what I’d call a fighting rifle. It’s not going to be the “accurate” or the most feature rich as a knights or radian. But it’s gonna run.

there’s a wide gap between what psa puts out and an 6920.

The above guy claiming 100k on psa’s no breakage needs to put the pipe down.

Have seen on personal stuff. Gas blocks super loose on journal, barrel nuts less then 30ft lbs. upper receiver holes not spaced correctly.. charging handle slot too tight… lower receivers not cut right for buffer.. take down pin holes too small. Bcg that won’t pass standing test after 1k.. Pot metal quality castle nuts.. there’s more I can’t remember all of them.
