He could have displayed evidence to the Country or the World that would solidify the fact that SH was a hoax. Anyone who's done more than a few hours of research of the event knows the Truth, but even Remington's insurance paid out for it, and didn't attempt to fight their lawsuit. Insurance companies usually fight tooth and nail for every payment... but they didn't even attempt to defend Remington. That's a setup, and it's done to establish precedence, case law or shut down opposing narratives by entities who have the money to control nearly everyone in their sphere, as for most people Money is their God.
It's the same exact thing that happened with FOX news vs Dominion. The entities that own Dominion also own Fox, so it was a ridiculous case from the beginning... and again, to establish precedence, case law, and to scare anyone from attempting to talk outside established narratives known as the Overton Window.
