Amish use traditional bows? Or fancy hi tech compound with all the do dads? Both. There's 2 different local guys that make some real nice long bows, but a lot of them also use the latest greatest high dollar stuff.

Found this old pic the other day. Back around 2001ish when I was a helicopter pilot for Columbus P. D. I was doing a fly-in for an elementary school to teach the kids about the chopper. Finally got on the board this yr. Not a buck, but with the few deer I've seen this yr it feels like one. Put the stalk on this deer that was bedded in some high weeds. A kicked up rabbit tearing off when I was getting close made it stand up and get nervous and changed the plans. 45 yd shot with a 141 in 35 Rem. Went 10 ft. Every time I see Scrappy, I love her personality more !!! She wanted a ride somehow on something....lol Thinking back, both of the dogs I've had with that sort of personality/attitude have been 30-40lb young adult pups I found at the local dog pound. Both go-getters and overall clever dogs.

Closed on a little clipper this morning. Gonna take some doing but it’ll be fishing by March. Need it as a hotel for the kids while we herring pound in April. Love these little clippers. All glass, pack a ton of fish, and fish way above their weight class. Has a low hour Cummins 4bt. Phase one stick a fan in it. In 3 days, a dehumidifier, and a week or so, heat.
