I have a mint Buck 412A Boy Scout edition that I could possibly be talked out of. I believe it was made in the early 80s. There's no date symbol on the blade, Only Buck 412A USA and the BSA emblem. Don't really want to sell it but may trade it for a quality knife that I'll actually use. It's in the box with the sheath and original paperwork.

No problem, the 112 is my favorite as well. The 412 has the same blade as a 112 except with a "zytel" handle.

There are 13 variations. I'd like to see how many I can get.Besides I tend to like older things.

Didn't know they were worth anything special.
I bought one last year at an estate sale for
my nephew to go with other knives I was
giving him. Very well built knife for what it is

So....my 112 from 1976 with a single dot on each side of the "112" on the blade is a fairly early one?

I just bought a 112 recently. Mine only has Buck 112 USA on it. Interesting on how you date them.
