The collection of taxes which are not absolutely required, which do not beyond reasonable doubt contribute to public welfare, is only a species of legalized larceny. Under this Republic the rewards of industry belong to those who earn them. Coolidge

I like the fact that they are smaller, they are the only primer I could use in recent manufacture Norma Swift brass because the primer pockets were so tight

New ones are a bit darker colored than the blue box ones. I just seated a few in a few different cartridges, and they all went in about as firm as normally do, not loose feeling at all.

Used some WLR in new star line brass , 30-30. They worked fine, firm as I seated them with a Lee hand priming tool. Will see this weekend how well things go. RZ.

I had read a few years or more ago that a lot of reloaders were pissed at Winchester because they found out that the WLR and WLRM primers were the same primers and had to pay more for the primers labeled WLRM.
How true that info is-----I DON'T KNOW-----JUST WHAT I READ. Don't know where or even exactly when.

I've read many times that WLR were closer to magnum than standard. This makes sense, since all Winchester powders are ball powders and might need more spark. Makes more sense if they could use 1 single primer for all their rifle cartridges, the logistics become more efficient if they don't have to have multiple things to change between production lots

You guys who are using WLRs with Big Game and Hunter: is that WLR or WLRM? WLRM
