Can anyone give me an approximate value on this shotgun? 2 3/4" 12 gauge apparently produced between 1959-1965. Serial#3341 with 2 bbls (25"IC & 27" Mod). Finish on both stock and metal is very good. Thanks for any input.

There are so few being on the market, it's hard to find comparisons. To an average buyer with no experience, it's just another auto unfit for steel. The alloy frame is a turnoff for many newer hunters. To a western chukar hunter they are or were very desirable. If I were to sell mine, I would try to use the Win model 50 pricing and see how it goes, same gun, different materials.

Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

If you are an upland hunter, the kind of upland hunting where you hike a lot more than shoot, or have some friends who are, loan that 59 to them...You will almost certainly have an offer on the table the next day. I'm serious...they are that good for the purpose. The 50/59's were I think the last all machined, no stamped guns the big W made. Beautiful internals, reliable...and in the case of the 59, you need not be concerned about the alloy frame longevity. One of my 59's I bought new in 1967, has had a 40 year diet of 2 3/4 inch baby magnums. No failures whatsoever ( but I cleaned and lubed after every season). Arguably one of the quickest pointing auto 12's ever made, recoil is negligible due to the floating chamber delay system...and with two barrels? It will sell itself if you get someone to try it.

I sold a spare model 50 on here last year. It went around 300 I think. One of those guns you either like or you don't

$500-700 depending on the shape of barrels and gun.

good luck. I have about 12 50/59's for sale and no one is willing to pay what they are worth.
seems people today want to steal them, rather than pay for them.

Shop I go in a few times a year has a Super x 1 been there at least 6 months at $450 and hasn't sold probably95% 28" modified vent rib. . I don't need another but at least in my area everyone wants a semiauto with synthetic and 3" chamber
