OP JMR40 Campfire Outfitter J Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 7,958 Likes: 5 Georgia	Ken Curtis who played Festus on Gunsmoke was a singer long before becoming an actor. If they ever let him show his talent on Gunsmoke I missed that episode. Sheb Wolley who played Pete Nolan on Rawhide. Lorne Green of Bonanza Ed Ames who played Mingo on Danile Boone. And of course Jim Nabors, AKA Gomer Pyle Most people don't really want the truth. They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

I do believe at least 2 while he was sitting in the Long Branch saloon. He also did a stint with the Suns of the Pioneers as I recall.
