I’m helping sell this shotgun for the wife of a friend and hunting buddy who passed suddenly at 45. I set this shotgun up for him and have one just like it except for the optic. Otherwise, I'd be staying here.
This a Benelli Vinci 24” in Realtree APG with the SteadyGrip stock. Like most Vinci shotguns, the trigger is extremely good for a semi-auto, breaking smoothly at less than 4lb. The optic is a Zeiss Z-Point with a 4MOA dot and is mounted on an EGW Rail. It comes with an Indian Creek .665” choke and sling attached.
Although he’s had it for about 10 years, but it’s been used exclusively for turkeys. So, while it has been carried some, it hasn’t been shot very much. I’d put the condition at 98-99%. The biggest wear is on the cheekpiece and rubber recoil pad, but both have good life remaining.
I set this up with a TSS handload using Federal 3” hull and 1-3/4oz of TSS #8.5. For me, it’s a great load that balances recoil and range. That attached patterns are a couple I shot last week to ensure the dot was still sighted-in. The first pattern is at 40 yards. It has a little over 85% in the 20” and you can see the distribution between the 10”, 15”, and 20” rings. I took it back to the bench a couple days later and shot the next one at 50 yards. The temp was in the upper 30s so it wasn’t quite as tight as it would be in warmer conditions. Still, as you can see, the pattern is centered point of aim and it’s a load that will have plenty of density to 60 yards, which was his goal. Of course, you could also use #9s to increase the pattern density too. That same load with #3 TSS really rocks for coyotes too.
This is a great opportunity if you’re wanting a turkey rig that’s setup and ready-to-go.
