Here in north FL, my 5" rain gauge over flowed. The wind was at least tropical storm force all night long. It was quite a unique event for this time of year. Temps were high sixties as well, which is also really unusual for December.

I looked up online personal weather stations north and south of me for about a 75 mile range.. my findings were from 3.50 to 5.50 inches in the last 24 hours.

It was lite at my place, I didn't get hit by any of the intense squalls that were involved, those can account for a inch or better in just a few minutes. I got less than 4 inches

Hard, steady rain here in Jacksonville for the last 20 hours or so. LOTS of water. I haven't seen my pond and ditches this flooded outside of hurricane season before.

We got 4.1 inches and 15 mph winds. Tide came up into the streets a little bit near King's Bay.

Damn! What a mess outside this morning. Garbage cans turned over, palm fronds laying all over the yard. Quite a clean up needed.

I misinterpreted the wind warning on that first screen. It said "Gale Warning +4" and I thought that meant winds of Gale Force 4 and higher. Nope. It meant there was a gale warning plus four other warnings. My mistake.

There are some things I miss about Florida: the fishing and the bird life. Not much else.

They still had one south bound outside lane of 19 near Walgreens closed due to standing water at 1:30 today.

Rocky, it's been raining here since Thursday. Truck door slammed on me the other day when I was getting in. I have no idea what the wind was blowing, but it was howling.
