They told us the recession was over the day Obama was sworn in. People who work know the economy sucked for the better part of 8 years.

A while back, gdp was down two quarters in a row, and we were screamed at how “we’re totally not in a recession”.

Fuel is down simply per a lack of demand. I’d remind everyone that this is during TWO wars. One of which has constrained Russia’s oil exports and another which could easily threaten supplies from Arab nations. Never mind how much petroleum the wars themselves consume.

During Trump’s four years, the media bombarded us with how things weren’t as great as they seemed and we were on the edge of a recession.

I can’t really think of a fate too bad for most “journalists”.

If they say it- it will be repeated and believed. Low-effort thinking is rampant in this nation.

They could say it’s booming because prices are high. Jeff Obama would believe it.

If their only markers are the stock market and gas prices (in some places), then they can probably justify their belief.

He either is or he isn’t, can’t have it both ways.

Ironic though, when the stock market was doing well under Trump, the economy was only good for greedy capitalist.

You can bet you a$$ that gas prices are going to continue to come down and the stock market is going to hold between now and election day................then it will be right back to making hay for them.

Welcome to an election year. Bar has been set so low that any improvement they will claim victory.

Fuel prices have fallen, interest rates will fall, and stock market is hitting all time highs.

But we have twats on here that won’t vote or will vote for some obscure candidate that has no chance of winning. And they have posted that.

Their ability to lie with enthusiasm and conviction is their only selling point. Many people will believe them no matter how much they experience the truth.
