I got to order this book. I got a 6x45 on a AR platform and looking to do one on a bolt action rifle. I also have a 7TCU,6TCU and 6.5 TCU pistol barrels for the T/C contender. Love this cartridge, for coyote hunting. Coyote don't run to far when they get hit by the 6x45. Thanks for publishing this book.

That's kind of you to say, Luis. All the reviews have been positive, and I'm confident that it will help! My favourite load is a 70 gr. Speer. I have two 6x45mms and both like this inexpensive, but accurate bullet! The coyotes absolutely do not like it though.

I read the book and must say that I enjoyed it. It is a quality book. Well illustrated. Clearly written. Being a rifle loony, it's right up my alley. I dabbled a good bit with a 7TCU in the Contender in 10,14, and 23"(I think) barrels. I also had Bullberry spin up a 20" Contender Carbine barrel in 6mm Bullberry (6/30-30). Took quite a few mule deer and pronghorns with them. I sold all those barrels some years ago. Your book makes me want to order a carbine barrel chambered in 6x45 and get back in the game.

That means a lot coming from someone who has many of the same interests. I think rifle loonys go wherever their interests and curiosities take them. Perhaps you are meant to explore the Contender with a 6x45.

I have a 300 HAMR barrel for my Contender arriving this week. There are several paths to walk with cartridges based on the 223. I also want a Contender in 20 Practical

We’re probably both destined to explore this area. It’s fertile ground!
