I've been loading RL26 for my 280 AI for several years, but my 26 supply is dwindling and it's not looking like it's going to become readily available, again, anytime soon. So, I'm going to start working toward a replacement. I've got some VV N170 and I'm starting there, for similar burn rate, but I've not found any 280 AI data for it. Extrapolating from other cartridges, they seem pretty close for charge, but I'd rather be a little more sure on the pressures for a starting point to work up from. Can someone run QL with a 150 Partition and/or a 150 ELD-X?

Much appreciated, Mick! I knew the energy for weight comparison wouldn’t be favorable, but damn! That’s an even more substantial difference than I’d anticipated. I’ll load a few, anyway, see how close the predicted velo is to my rifle.
