Any fixes for a sticky CVA stock? #19024393 12/18/23

OP GreatWaputi Campfire Ranger G Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 18,458 Likes: 2 OreGONE	The stock and forearm on my CVA Apex .50 cal muzzloader have become sticky to the touch. I contacted CVA customer service and they said there are no replacements but offered to exchange for an Accura. I don't want to do that if I can avoid it. Has anyone found anything to remove the sticky layer? Thanks for any info.
