Yes, back in the early sixties, I never seen candy in pound bags. Candy bars were 5 cents each. Gas was about 29 cents a gallon for Ethel . Ethel: "I hollered up at Ethel, I said "DON'T LOOK, ETHEL!!"..Too late. She'd already gotten a free shot. Grandstand. Right there in front of the home team." Ethyl: The new fuel was tetraethyl lead. With vast profits in sight – and very few public health regulations at the time – General Motors Co. rushed gasoline diluted with tetraethyl lead to market despite the known health risks of lead. They named it “Ethyl” gas. I remember it well, almost like it was yesterday. "Fill'er up? Regular, Ethyl, or Premium ma'am?" "Want me to check under your hood?"

By golly I remember in 19 and 49 a foot long Clark bar was 2cents and Zagnut went to 3cents. And all hell broke loose after that.

And I dont GAF if they are GMO They are made 35 miles from here, in the big town we shop in. They sell big boxes of them in the factory store. “Imperfects”. The only thing wrong is the filling gets through the chocolate and sticks to the paper. Just like most of the ones you pay top dollar for. I won’t buy those boxes anymore … I eat them Prodigiously.
