Way cool! Now if they make it in .256 Win Mag, I'm onboard!

A friend had a 45Colt/45ACP round butt on order for three, pushing 4 years. He cancelled and bought one off of Gunbroker.
They're making way too much $$ injecting plastic and saving bucks making aluminum shavings.
I do predict what few get shipped out will be worth mucho coin someday, even if they have warts.

Acquaintances of mine (writers) got their hands on one and spent the day at the range shooting it a couple days ago. Said they enjoyed it.
Will ask more detailed questions next time I see them.

Oooh, she gonna be LOUD!
Should totally kick the asses of the 5.7 and .22 TCM, performance wise, and in most cases 8 should be enough.
Gonna be a bitch to carry “concealed”😛
1-9” twist opens up some interesting bullet options. My 5.7 does 45s very well, but this one should do some in the 60s.
There are some 5.7 subsonics using IIRC 63s, but being subsonic, naturally they’re slow.
What fresh Hell is this?

I chatted with Shane Jahn after his range day with this revolver. He said it would be really fun in a Prairie Dog field. He also said he will have a more detailed article on it soon at "The Mag Life" blog. https://gunmagwarehouse.com/blog/Frog----OUT!

Definitely an interesting idea they went with on a not so popular caliber.

I've been interested since I've seen the announcement.
The SuperRedHawk Tank should be impervious to any loading of the hornet...I mean one should be able to scoop nearly any powder into the case and cram a pill in it and send it downrange.
I don't need one...but may get one if I ever see one in person and get to handle it first...just because.

All these years of suggestions emailed to Ruger and we get this … ? I will never understand. It might excite some, but I can’t see the use of a revolver for it. If I want to shoot a Hornet, I’ll reach for the rifle or better yet a T/C in handgun configuration.

Interesting, but I don't see that one selling like hotcakes. The Raging Hornet/Bee were not big sellers, but they have become a bit of a collector's item. I sorta see these going the same way.

I was thinking about long guns more so when I commented. Ruger has discontinued what I always thought were sought-after products. I mean, who wants this behemoth instead of a Red Label or No. 1? Why not bring those back?

I don’t understand their thinking on the No. 1 either. It sure seems like they’re in demand.

Eoes the old back thrust jam issue go away with the long taper of the Hornet.
