I recently acquired an old Scoffield that has a stamp ( Danville VA) and it is stamped with a number 17 on the underside of the Barrel. I am curious if this thing is worth trying to reassemble it enough to make it a wall piece and if so where would I start to look for the parts.[Linked Image from i.imgur.com][Linked Image from i.imgur.com][Linked Image from i.imgur.com]

I think you are right, I might just post it for sale and be done with it.

No parts, unless you stumble upon a parts gun. And the parts gun would probably be more complete than what you've got. Hang it.
