Don't really do Christmas for myself - just buy what I want when I want for me mostly. So this year, calendar year 2023 I bought quite a few things "special"

96 ZRT600 - decided to keep and not flip
04 Firecat 700
04 YFZ450 - needs rebuild, winter project

53 International Harvester Garand from CMP
44 Colt Slide/Frame 1911A1 from CMP
Bergara B14R
Kibler Colonial in 50

Bout it for "special in 2023" I think.

A Florida fishing trip with my three sons. I am going since they are too young to go on their own. I consider this my Christmas present. A really good one as well.

Grammar is important.
Capitol letters are the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" & "helping your uncle jack off a horse".

Here is one in my basement, some from the dealer's online site when I got it and some of the brass for it.

It's a Lindner made Charles Daly, very early from the 1870's.

I still have my dies, brass. Let’s hear about your gift to yourself !!!! Alan

Yep Sako’s are hard to beat, bought a 50th anniversary model for my 70th birthday last year.

I bought a Kimber BGR in 270 to go with a 280 BGR I bought last year for my Christmas present this year.
Hanco congrats! Do you like the 280 over the 270?

I’d say about the same. I loaded 120 Barnes for the 280, but I think I’m going to try the 140 ballistic tips like I use in 7 mags.

I usually just get what I want.

But I have been slowly transitioning out of Glocks into Sig pistols. Got a 365 XMacro comp to replace a G29. A 320 XTEN Endure coming in today which is replacing a G40. Still researching which SIG 9mm I am going to get for a G20 replacement.

If that counts. grin

Yep, a report upon completion is required!

I’ve been to Thailand a handful of times, P huket and Bangkok. It’s one of if not my favorite place to visit. Singapore a close second. Its beautiful.
Get out of the tourist traps.
