No not another 99E 22 H.P.

Came across an old Savage washing/drying drum, no motor rusted legs, no lid but the Savage logo is in place so might take that off and use the drum as a planter

Never seen one before and I haunt clearing sales

Safe Christmas to all

Does the Savage logo plate have an Australian address?

A warm Southern hemisphere Christmas is sounding pretty good right now and it hasn't even gotten very cold yet.

I read an article that they passed a law allowing the use of helicopters for culling the brumbies. Is there not a market for the meat in Europe or is the area to rugged to round them up?

Merry Christmas, Johno.

Rick I will get a photo today and send to one of you blokes to post I can't seem to get photos to work made under license "A.M. Chub & Co Sydney Australia" The drum looks to be stainless steel

Now the brumby cull is a whole can or worms, firstly very controversial here you have the pro people the argument being they are part of our heritage the against argue they introduced and doing huge damage. Like all these things the balance lies in the middle. What really p*sses me off is its taking an average of 7 shots to put they animal down that just is not good enough as hunters here saying these blokes should not be involved if the can't do quick kills. Now you are going to love this bit they do not recover the carcasses of the horses or the deer, in fact we have big culls on sambar & fallow deer even the pest guys are not permitted to remove the deer. They are left to rot and feed the wild dogs & pigs. I am not even going to try and explain the thinking because its way beyond my understanding, just a bloody waste when we have a homeless problem

Doesn't seem that increasing the wild hog population would help things. They are very destructive.

Are you still overrun with roo's?

I asked about the logo plate cause I thought I had seen an Australian plate many years ago on eBay. Would have made since to make vs ship.

Could be wrong but I think the US made machines had an aluminum basket vs stainless steel.

Ah Rick now if you leave dozens of dead deer & horses in those bush areas the wild dog & pig population multiplies a great deal, also these areas border big sheep farms so the dog problem gets even worse. All this has been pointed out numerous times to the politicians but over here there is more mileage in appeasing the Greens than looking after the people who put food on the table

I will get photos later today going to dig spuds got a great crop this year

we aren't supposed to do politics here. But, the oceans have risen 1 millimeter in the last 30 years. Global Warming? That BS has been going on for so long that many people can't be convinced otherwise. We had record cold in the early to mid 80's. The orange groves around Ocala, Fl., my home town, were destroyed. The doomsday pukes said the earth was going to freeze. then it warmed up, the hole in the ozone above Australia was discovered and all of a sudden the earth was going to burn up.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
