Cash;
Thanks for the kind reply sir, once more you're very gracious in your efforts to understand a foreigner in your midst.

While both bottles in the photo are wonderful gifts, I'm sure I'd find the one on the right more to my personal taste - again admittedly as an uncouth barbarian from the north, good taste cannot be expected from a country that puts gravy and cheese curds on perfectly good fries.

Nonetheless and furthermore, in my attempts to educate myself on the former and primary subject of the thread, I give you - a history of bacon.

Well it's a linky thing Cash.

But the Chinese, then Greeks and Romans - who knew?

Small wonder the Romans are still well thought of.

Best to you all once more and again Merry Christmas.

Dwayne

I'm not sure but he'd die faster fasting.

Good Lord Cash,

Finally a healthy diet i can get behind.

Like some, I don't think your post is for self gratification.

As the never ending repeatable ( only 5 thoughts in the whole thing) fasting BS.

Keep up the good work and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Best,

Chuck

People have no clue.
Zero carbs with bacon or bourbon.
You're golden.

I love bacon. I just wish you could buy it not filed with chemical preservatives.

By scrambling eggs in the bacon grease, I lose very little of the available fat content. GD

Bacon has been a big part of my weight loss program, low carb, for the last year. Bacon and eggs for breakfast one day with Sausage and eggs the next, alternating days. The evening meal was only meat until I got to my desired weight and I now have some carbs with the evening meal but still no carbs for breakfast.

I love my bacon.

Same here...

Even the Doc was... "Whatever you are doing... KEEP DOING IT"... after the followup bloodwork.

If you just eat meat, you don't need a dentist.
If you just eat meat, you don't need toilet paper.
If you just eat meat, you don't need to worry about everything in-between.

I lived with a vegetarian when I was in grad school...

When we were dating...

Before shacking up together...

She told me... "The only meat I eat... does not mind."

She was a fine lady...

Quite pretty as well.
