McCarthy calls some stupid pass play, two free rushers come crashing in, play blown up.

He is buddy-buddy with all the players; he coddles them. Therefore, there is no discipline. Until Jerry steps away, they will be the champions of mediocrity.

As an side, I went to school with Barry Switzer at the Univ. of Arkansas, and was acquainted with him.. Chilinstructor, you are correct. Switzer was a good football player but not the smartest student on campus... by a long shot  L.W.
