Anybody got a stock for a .22 LR Remington #4 rolling block rifle laying around? CHEAP!!!! I have one but the stock is broken at the wrist. I glued and screwed it back together but would like to find an intact one. It is one I will keep as a shooter as the previous a-hole owner wire wheeled the metal on it, but mechanically it is perfect. Numrich wants $85.00 for a semi finished one and another outfit $130.00 for the same thing! That is way beyond my present means and the T LEE gun collection is whittled down to the bare amount of keepers, no trading stock left.

I saw some #4 Rolling Block wood on e-bay last year, you might try there. I bought some wood and metal for a 7mm Rolling Block about 2 years ago from Wisners, Inc. in California. They specialize in Rolling Blocks. Check out: http://www.wisnersinc.com/rifles/remington/roll_block.html

While you're lookin' for that stock T Lee, keep an eye out for a forearm for a #2 Sporting Rifle with heavy octagon barrel. Got one with a trashed bore/chamber & homemade forearm. It's a pretty thing otherewise & I have a friend who'll do a reline for me pretty reasonably. I can probably make a nicer, more accurate forearm than what's on it but I'd rather have an original

There is a company called Treebone I believe who specialize
in rolling blocks, parts, stocks, etc. Dont know where they
are located.

I will see if I can find them, new stock or not I'll be bringing it to New Mexico in April.

Yep, that is the guy I found earlier. Very nice wood but WAY out of my price range as my stock would be a "custom" order.

I have glued and screwed the old one, will see how it works out. Unfortunately I am a pistolsmith and never studied stock work.
