Merry Christmas everyone! It is unusually warm (45) with an inch of rain here today. Any normal Christmas Eve would have brought 10 inches of snow. I'll take it as a Christmas present.

The dog's name is White Fang. Named after a wolf dog in Jack London's book of the same name. He's the exact opposite of London's White Fang. He's afraid of strangers and plays with the kittens and other dogs. He's definitely got a lot of German shepherd, but he is bigger, probably 120 pounds. Could be some Great Dane. He was a stray that my wife's cousin picked up near her home in North Las Vegas. He was about two when we got him a year and a half ago. He's really a good dog. I'm going to take him for a walk in a few minutes, one of his favorite things. He hated the heat in Nevada. Last Spring when most of the snow was gone he would lay on the small patches of snow that hadn't melted.
