I think she was the good one, kinda conservative. I think they left her behind when they went 'modern/woke'. I knew Laura, as well as her family in west Texas. Her and the Dixie Chicks parted ways before they really got popular. Natalie Manes was who replaced her in the group. Laura was from a conservative ranching family, and was pretty good looking, as well as talented. There was no love lost for her former Dixie Chick compadres.... on either side. It was sickening to see the crocodile tears and press release from the Dixie Chicks about how torn up and upset they were to hear of Laura's death.... The reality is, they hated each other. If you know women, you know they never stop hating.
