OP Fireball2 Campfire Kahuna Joined: May 2011 Posts: 56,323 Likes: 9 Oregon	Pretty hard to find Savage 99 from 1964. One year only checkering style for the 99DL, in the rarest chambering as well. Have not fired this rifle. It's just one of many from the 1964 transition year that I accumulated. Time to let some go. It's been handled but I doubt fired much. Has rash on wood and metal, including a big dink on the buttstock. Still, you'll wait years to find another 99DL with the double diamond checkering from 1964. In mint condition this wouldn't sell for less than $2K in a 284. So the price reflects the handling marks. $1500 for the rifle, will ship in a hard case on your dime.
