Yeah, those snowballs are very versatile. If you get a flat tire you can peel the coating off and use it as a patch. It'll hold up until you can get to the tire shop.

Hostess used to be Continental Baking, not sure who it is now. They don't have the shelf life of the bomb shelter Twinkie.

I don't care for powdered donuts, too messy, but do buy a 12 pack of Duchess brand little chocolate donut 6 packs every other week or so at Sam's. 12 for $7 is a lot less expensive than buying Hostess or Little Debbie brand LCDs at the convenience store.

Years ago the late John Belushi did a spoof of Bruce Jenner's Olympic Decathlon Gold Medal, back when Bruce still thought that he was a man, on SNL. Little Chocolate Donuts, The Breakfast Of Champions. Hard to believe that Belushi has been gone for almost 42 years.

I can remember eating Hostess ones. A very long time ago. Fortunately, my tastes have matured beyond that of an eight-year-old.

Tastykakes here, Butterscotch Krimpets, Chocolate Cup Cakes, Peanut Butter Tandy Cakes and Coconut Juniors. Tastykake pies were delicious and 12 cents back in the day ($2.29 now).
If I’m eating donuts it’s Entemann’s variety pack, 3 each of plain, cinnamon, powdered sugar and chocolate covered.
Never had Hostess or Lil Debbie products.
