I have a G20 and am happy with it, was considering a smaller gun with more hiking in mind, a G29. I also am looking at the P320 x10 comp, with a 3.8 inch barrel. I hate hearing that the X10 has reliability problems, as the grip on the X10 is nicer than a Glock 29.

I too dealt with getting a 10mm for free from Cabelas. Gen 3 20 SF was even on sale so didn't burn all the points. At this point I may have just a few bucks more into it than the cost of the freebee. KKM barrel as they're a local company, Zev trigger and some steel Trijs. Another local company did the frame and slide mods plus Cerakoting. It rides in a Hill People Gear runners bag if I'm on the tractor or out in the desert in the SxS. That is a seriously handsome Glock.

seriously handsome Glock. These words have never been used in conjunction before!

Shot McKays ammo over the weekend Accurate and feeds well-250 grain at 925 fps. Recoil is a little sharper than 230 grain ball at 850 fps, but not bad. Fast shipping and friendly service

I'm personally a SIG fan. They have the best triggers out of the box. I'm not a striker fired fan, so I'd go for the P220. If you must have striker fired, the P320 is the best available.

The P220 in 45 with McKays loads works very nice.

I'm a Glock fan--wasn't always that way. But the simplicity, dependability, and accuracy of my G43 has won me over. I strongly suspect that a Glock 41 will be my next handgun purchase. A long slide, .45 ACP with a 13 round mag capacity appeals to me as the pistol that needs to be kept nearby when I'm around the house. It's probably a bit cumbersome to be a carry gun--and the grip is a bit fat. But I have the 43 for carry and my hands are big enough to get used to the grip.
,...and it's a Glock. It just works.

Maybe it is an abomination to some but Lone Wolf has 9" barrels for the G 21/41. I would like to shoot some of Makay's 45 loads over a chrono in a 9" er. Maybe some super loads as well. Won't be a handy gun but maybe a hunting gun?!? RZ.

BMT I’ve just about convinced myself that I can do without a 10. I have an HK USP and an Expert in 45. With Ted’s ammo - and 45 Super if I feel the need - I can do anything I’ll ever need to do with an auto. 44mag/45 Colt will handle the rest.

I used the Cabelas points for a Vortex Viper 4-16x44 mil/mil scope

I have 2 G20s. If I didn’t have any and was buying one today, it would be a G40. I have an OD green G20 that may get sold so I can get a G40.
