In the late 80s I worked for a major bank. I was made floor security officer, which meant that I was put in charge of emergency procedures. I checked out our stash of emergency supplies, which turned out to be civil defense equipment issued in the early 60s. The food and water was at least 25 years old then. I asked for fresh supplies from the bank's security department, but the original stuff was still there when I left a few years later and may well still be there.

What's mil spec for water? 2 parts hydrogen, 1 part water? am I missing somethng? Well, chemically, yes. By weight, in water there's 8x more oxygen than hydrogen.

I would characterize this as the house with the worlds worst runoff problem I know the amount would be insignificant, but wonder if they got a septic or plop plop fizz fizz into the ocean ? Is gardening feasible in such a location ? Storms a problem? Kenneth I more just meant runoff from rain, let alone anything else. Yeah, hopefully they just poo in the water. Fish food.
