A friend asked if I could load some coyote loads for an upcoming hunt. He's wanting to use #2 nickel plated shot, but then he read something about F shot. I've never load yote loads, just bird and skeet loads and used #3 buck factory loads on yotes. If I load him 1-3/8 oz 12 gauge with 27 grains of Longshot would he have better longer range knockdown with #2 or F shot? Thanks!
The lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part!

#2 is too small, #2 buck is too big and doesn't have enough pellets for a decent pattern. You want BB, BBB, T, F or #4 Buck.

For what it's worth there's a 1-3/8 oz tssload that is absolutely wicked with big shot and will kill coyotes a long way.

27 #4 buck in a AA wad over about 31g od Longshot used to work well for me IIRC.
