Very nice Ruger 308 Skeleton Stock with Rifleman 3x9x50 Leupold Scope. These guns are very rare and this one is super nice. $1800

Sounds like a peach of a rifle. Post up some pics!

Love those Skeleton stocks.

Good luck with the sale.

Dinny will probably be along shortly to tell you how he bought a new one in 1992 for 279$ at K-Mart.

I think 308s are the one of the hardest to find and most collectible. I owned nearly all of them. To include the 260, 280 and 308. More people asked for the 308, than any other.

I still have the 300 Win Mag and 22 Win Mag.

Good luck. There are a group of collectors out there that love these guns.

He can't, you don't have enough posts to receive or send PM's. Plus if you really want to sell it you should create your own for sale post.

I have M77 stainless in 308 with the standard stock. Are these more valuable because of the skeleton stock? I never did care for it so I got the regular one.

And, yes...they are definitely more valuable than the standard plastic stocked variety.
