Can you suppress a bar? Didnt know if it would over gas it or not.
Those 18" BAR's with detachable mags are good feeling rifles

Just spitballin' here, (my knowledge on the BAR's could fit into a miniature thimble) but you could run into cycling problems without some tinkering. I thought I'd read somewhere that BAR's have adjustable regulators????
***pure speculation on my part***

First issue you’ll have is getting the muzzle threaded. I did one on the Winchester variant and it required some finagling with disassembly and an independent 4 jaw chuck. I thought about the same thing and would likely go with a reflex mounted suppressor where the can extends back past the muzzle for 1/2 to 2/3rds its length, 3-4” behind the muzzle. Supposed to minimize the length of the gas pressure duration.
Shoot straight, shoot often
