Question for .300BO guys. I bought a box of this mainly for the brass and my absolutely rifle loves it, would really like to duplicate the load. I haven't put it through the chrono yet but the box says 1,080fps. Before I start tinkering with it does anyone experienced with this care to share their data to at least give me a starting point ? The rifle is a Ruger American with AAC suppressor, very fun little rifle. And in case it matters , I'm not a newbie, been reloading for over 30yrs, 17 or so different calibers.

8gr of Lil gun works for me with the 208amax. I can't remember the exact speed but it is still sub sonic in a 16" barrel. AA1680 is a good one to I just have an abundance of Lil gun

My Ruger American didn't like the 208gr ELDM Hornady Black factory ammo, but it loves that bullet with 8.0 - 8.2gr of Lil' Gun!

The Lil' Gun loads are noticeably quieter than shooting the same bullet with CFE-BLK and AA1680. The powder charges are smaller, with Lil' Gun, and it seems to make a difference if you're going for quiet, especially in a bolt gun. The Lil' Gun loads didn't reliably cycle through a friend's 8" SBR, though.

Try putting a spring in from an AR 9 and see how it cycles a 300 Blackout load.

Passing on what was suggested to me. So if it doesn't work or does, I don't deserve the credit or the criticism. smile
