If you can't quite get a row of seven on the length of the trailer, minus 4 bales and you got 26. 26. Final answer. You mention 22" sides on the trailer but not a tailgate. So, 4 down sitting on 36" sides... then 5 on top level 96" wide and again sitting on the 36" sides. So, 9 large bales... but that would put you at 5.85 tons on the average. So, it would have to be just 4 bales on top too. So, 8 large bales. Phil
