I have started shooting 6xc Tubb .268 neck using Peterson brass. It works fine and am on 10x on first batch. A much more experienced friend told me to try Palma as he is past 30 firings with hot loads and pockets are still good. So I bought some and a re-formed it to 6xc. I am a Lapua fan but have never messed with it before like this - just skim and trim at most. Compared to the Peterson the Palma is 3x harder to trim and takes 3x longer to anneal. Primer seating was much more consistent and firmer on the Palma vs new Peterson. I am going to shoot my first test run of Palma today. ps: I am a hobby shooter not competitor.

The question is if anyone knows if this Palma production brass is made to better tolerances or with different metallurgy than the normal stuff. Thx

I've not noticed anything inherently different about the PALMA brass than standard .308 Winchester other than the pocket size.
