I know guys are starting to use Starline rifle brass due to availability. I bought a bulk bag of .30-06 cases and prepped 50.

Ave wt. = 190.8 gr (n = 20). Pretty much the same as Winchester (190.4 gr) I have on hand.

A little bit of a flash hole burr, but not as bad as RP.

Starline has been good in the cartridges I've used it in. It's not Lapua but it's always going to be better than Federal or newer made Winchester and I'd argue its equal to the new crap that Nosler is putting out

Looking to buy some for 270. So the consensus is its quality is on a scale of 1-10 at least a 6??

Another funny thing I'd like to note is that right on the bulk package bag is says: "America's Finest Brass . . . . Exceeds all SAAMI specifications"

Since most SAMMI specifications are dimensionally related and have min/max values, I'm not sure how you exceed them?

I'm sure the marketing guys have never bothered reading SAAMI specs smirk

Really happy to see Starline offering 6mm ARC brass. Weight consistency has impressed me.

:Thank you, Starline!
