I live in Iowa. Just another state in the USA. Supposed to get 5-8" of snow today.
Already closed all local schools and pubic county offices. Not seen a flake of snow yet.
Back in my days, they would have just put tire chains on the school buses, and waited until it got nasty before letting out early.

Back in my days, they would have just put tire chains on the school buses, and waited until it got nasty before letting out early. This ^^ Too many underemployed lawyers. What if there was an accident and someone got hurt. The school is liable and they will lose in front of a jury. They have to cancel. kwg

Snow just started about 20 minutes ago here in southwest Iowa. Kwg is a good guy in my book....met with him to swap primers during the pandemic.

When I lived in Minnesota, I did a lot of business in Iowa Hospitals, being a regional Manager for a medical company.
Scrubbed into a lot of Cardiology Cases in Iowa. I really like rural Iowa and many of the folks I met down there...
There is a lot worse places in this country than Iowa and a lot worse people than Iowegians.
