Lamprey els and other bad stuff got into the great lakes from ocean going ships coming up the St. Lawrence Seaway and dumping their bilge.

I grew up living by it and fishing it many, many times…
I grew up next to Lockport NY… , and even when I was at Grifffiss AFB it ran by there as well..
You can boat it all the way … pretty cool.

I have when I lived in the Adirondacks Lake George to be precise, pretty cool you can see and feel the history.
